In Person Art Words and Yoga

Service Description

Participants begin with a brief art and writing exercise to set their intentions for practice and then move into a 30-minute yoga sequence. Paper and markers are provided. No previous yoga experience required. 1. Pay From Your Heart and Abundance With the support of the Puyallup United Methodist Church, I'm able to do this at a very low cost. We ask for a suggested donation of 10 dollars per class, so we can sustain this offering. If you are able to donate more at this time in your life, you will be giving a gift to others who cannot often afford yoga classes. If you are struggling with your budget and donating 10 dollars a class is a hardship, you can donate less. Our suggested donation truly is a suggestion based on what we believe we need to be able to continue offering Art Words and Yoga to our community. 2. No Church Connection Needed These classes are held in the church and we do explore the deeper meaning of yoga with its spiritual roots. But you do not need to practice Christianity or any other religion to attend. You only need to come with an open heart and a willingness to practice. 3. Accessibility We often use props, including a chair to make our practice accessible and enjoyable.
